What is EVI ? What is choosing wisely ?

We need your e-card every 90 days.
e-Medication and e-Findings
Access to e-medication and e-findings is possible 90 days after the original patient e-card has been inserted at the doctor's office.
e-vaccination certificate
Access to the e-vaccination record is only possible within 28 days after the original patient e-card has been inserted in the doctor's office.
Pharmacies
The pharmacy requires the patient's original e-card at each visit to retrieve stored private and public health insurance prescriptions. Providing only the social security number and date of birth is insufficient for the pharmacy to grant full access to the electronic medication record.
ELGA access rights can be extended to 365 days.
Extending access rights for regularly ordering long-term medications from the family doctor is beneficial. This allows patients to conveniently order medications online, eliminating the need for them to visit the doctor's office every 90 days to have their e-card updated.
